Maggie Bluffs

This morning the family three headed to Maggie Bluffs at the shores of Magnolia's scenic Elliot Bay Marina. It was our first time there and we enjoyed the casual ambiance and uber yummy sourdough pancakes. We are wondering if the place has some seriously spiritual mojo though... When Mom unwrapped her place setting, the fork and knife stuck together. It reminded Daddy of a freakshow-type spoonbender trick...

Immediately after b-fast we headed to the local caffeinating hole where I quickly set about applying luscious latte foam to my nose...

Abulhosn Playdate

Today Daddy and I met up with Mak and Marques Abulhosn at Ballard's Golden Gardens. It was a beautiful afternoon and we definitely made the most of it.

Miyuki Ott

Tonight we enjoyed the Ballard Artwalk in the fine company of Doug, Tia, and Campbell Smith. After an easy dinner at burger joint Zak's, we literally stroll down Ballard Avenue to the new home of the New York Fashion Academey - the alma mater of friend Miyuki Ott and the venue for a fashion show featuring some of her wares.

Miyuki is a talented woman that makes things ranging from professional pantsuits to bicycle messanger bags made of recycled intertubes and automobile seatbelts. But her fashion voice thus far is communicated through lavishly appointed corsets. I'm may be a scat 30" tall and have no breasts, but sign me up to wear one of those ANYTIME!!
